Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate CNC machines (e.g., milling, turning, or sliding head machines depending on site)
• Read and interpret technical drawings and work to tight tolerances
• Inspect components to ensure accuracy and quality using measuring tools (micrometers, verniers, gauges)
• Make program adjustments as needed to improve quality or efficiency
• Perform routine maintenance and ensure machines are kept in good working order
• Work collaboratively with engineers, team leaders, and quality control to meet production targets
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment at all times

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a CNC Machinist in a manufacturing or engineering environment
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings
• Confident using measuring and inspection equipment
• Experience with Fanuc, Siemens, Heidenhain, or similar controls (site dependent)
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Relevant engineering qualification is desirable but not essential
