We are seeking a Medical Advisor – Spine Surgery for a European orthopaedics company to support the launch of innovative spinal products. This role offers the chance to influence clinical strategy and product development, working closely with cross-functional teams and global experts. The role presents a unique opportunity for a licensed orthopaedic spine surgeon or neurosurgeon eager to apply their clinical expertise in a medical device or pharmaceutical industry setting.
Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage clinical studies in spine surgery, including post-market research. Collaborate with key opinion leaders and clinical investigators
Provide expert input for complaint handling, risk assessment, and safety evaluations
Review and approve scientific publications, promotional materials, and labelling
Deliver internal training to sales teams and distributors
Offer clinical guidance and respond to medical inquiries from the field
Ideal ProfileMedical Doctor specialised in spinal surgery or neurosurgery (or near completion)First-hand experience in spinal procedures
Previous experience in the medical device industry or a strong interest in transitioning
Excellent English communication skills and ability to engage with international experts
Innovative, collaborative, and commercially minded
Availability to travel to the company’s HQ and the USA a few times a year
