Group Finance Manager / Financial ControllerLocation: LeedsSalary: £70,000 – £85,000We are working exclusively with a leading manufacturing and distribution business in Leeds, seeking an experienced Group Finance Manager or Financial Controller to join their senior leadership team. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on finance professional who enjoys a varied, commercially focused role and thrives in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities:Oversee day-to-day financial operations, including management accounts, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow.

Support the Board and senior leadership with commercial insight and financial reporting. Drive improvements across financial processes, systems, and controls. Collaborate with operational and commercial teams to support growth, margin enhancement, and cost-saving initiatives.

Manage and develop a small finance team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. Ensure accurate statutory reporting, compliance, and audit liaison. About

You:Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent). Proven experience as a Financial Controller, Group Finance Manager, or in a senior financial role within an SME or group environment. Background in manufacturing, distribution, or similar sectors.

Commercially focused, with the ability to influence business decisions through financial insight. Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills. Comfortable in a hands-on, dynamic environment with a growing business.
