What does the role of Workshop Controller involve? Accounting for and managing Technicians time when working on jobs. Ensuring Job Card write up compliance with regards to OEM Warranty Procedures.


Managing and improving workshop Productivity and Efficiency by allocating the correct jobs to the correctly skilled technician


Identifying Technician Training Needs.What do you need to succeed as a Workshop Controller?Proven experience within a service department in the motor industry

An excellent understanding of systems and processes operated to within this environmentA strong knowledge of Health and SafetyConfident with dealing with people at all levels, be able to build an immediate rapport

Excellent planning and organisational skills

Comfortable in negotiating and influencing situations

Lead by example to deliver an outstanding customer experience every time
