Finance Assistant - Bradford Robert Half Finance & Accounting is recruiting a new role of Finance Assistant for a fantastic professional services business based in Bradford. The team is growing and looking to add a new member
This role requires someone with previous finance experience who is early in their study journey
Key Duties: Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts, including accruals, prepayments, and journals
Perform balance sheet reconciliations
Maintain fixed assets and prepare depreciation schedules
Prepare quarterly VAT returns
Conduct overhead and variance analysis
Prepare ad-hoc reports
Handle month-end processing and switch over
Manage residual balances
Perform bank reconciliations
Post petty cash transactions and reconcile
Ensure all client transactions comply with Solicitors Accounts Rules
Input purchase ledger invoices into the system
Perform general administration tasks as required
Produce ad-hoc MI using Excel
Maintain confidentiality in all matters related to partnership finances & client accounts
Assist with auditors' requests
Candidate Requirements: Previous experience working within a finance function
Studying towards professional accountancy qualifications
