Latsco (London) Ltd., located in Central London (West End) and representing a fleet of Product and Crude Oil Tankers, LPG and LNG Carriers is looking to recruit a full time Insurance Assistant, reporting to the Insurance Manager
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Reviewing, checking, and processing in Document Management System insurance-related invoices, claims deductibles, insurance premiums (debits and credits) and ad hoc insurance costs as well as facilitating accounts and keeping Financial Reporting department updated
Supporting the general administration of claims, including but not limited to organising & maintaining electronic claims records and ensuring filing system is always up to date
Assisting the department post-renewal with archiving and distributing documentation
Liaising with various internal and external departments, such as accounting departments aiming to collate documentation
Maintaining and updating department databases
CANDIDATE PROFILE
A University degree in a relevant field of studies
Up to 2 years’ experience in a relevant position - experience in the shipping industry will be considered an asset
Excellent command in written and spoken English
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office
Organizational skills and attention to detail
Good time management skills and ability to prioritise tasks
Ability to work within tight deadline
Analytical and numerical skills
Team player
