What you’ll do
Deliver strengths-based assessments and safeguarding plans that put each child’s voice first.
Lead strategy meetings and Section 47 enquiries where disability and risk intersect.
Prepare clear court reports and advocate powerfully for the child’s best interests.
Use creative tools (Makaton, PECS, social stories) to communicate in ways that matter.
What you’ll bring
Social Work England registration and solid post-qualifying children’s experience.
Proven practice with Children with Disabilities, Looked-After Children, CP and CiN.
Confident multi-agency collaboration, report-writing and court-work skills.
Full UK driving licence and access to a car (mileage paid).
Bonus points for Practice Educator, BIA or autism-specific training.
