Tailored Recruitment Partners are working with a leading Raw Pet food Supplier that are recruiting for a Business Development/Account Manager on a Remote basis.



About the Role



We’re looking for a driven and relationship‑focused Sales Account Manager to lead business development and account growth within the raw pet food retail sector. This role blends new business acquisition with hands‑on account management, ensuring retailers receive exceptional support while expanding our brand presence across the UK.



You’ll be the face of the business for retail partners—building trust, driving sales, and helping stores succeed with our premium raw pet food products.



Key Responsibilities



Business Development





  • Identify, target, and secure new retail accounts across the UK.




  • Develop tailored pitches and proposals to onboard new stockists.




  • Analyse market trends and competitor activity to uncover growth opportunities.





Account Management





  • Manage and nurture relationships with existing retail partners.




  • Conduct regular store visits to support merchandising, training, and product knowledge.




  • Ensure retailers have the tools, information, and support needed to maximise sales.




  • Monitor account performance and implement strategies to increase sell‑through.





Customer Engagement





  • Act as the primary point of contact for retailers, resolving queries and providing ongoing support.




  • Deliver product training sessions to store teams.




  • Represent the brand at trade shows, events, and in‑store promotions.





Commercial & Reporting





  • Work to agreed sales targets and KPIs.




  • Maintain accurate CRM records and sales forecasts.




  • Provide feedback to internal teams on customer needs, product performance, and market insights.





About You





  • Proven experience in sales, account management, or business development, ideally within FMCG, pet food, or a related category.




  • Confident building long‑term relationships with retail partners.




  • Comfortable with regular travel and face‑to‑face customer interaction.




  • Self‑motivated, commercially minded, and able to work independently.




  • Passion for pets or the raw feeding sector is a strong advantage.
