THE ROLE:


As a BDM at ATM Events, you are the driving force behind new client acquisition and revenue growth. You will be responsible for identifying B2B opportunities and converting them into long-term partnerships. You aren't just selling a venue; you are selling a full-service consultancy that covers everything from global incentive trips to high-end Christmas parties and sports hospitality. 


A fantastic opportunity has become available to appoint a Business Development Manager at ATM Corporate Events. This role would be based at the main office in Bradford, West Yorkshire. You will be part of a fast paced and dynamic events team who are engaged in delivering a wide variety of corporate events to clients. The role focuses on bringing in event business from our existing and a new client prospective point of view. The candidate will need to come from a Sales lead background with experience of bringing in new sales business. You will need to work as part of a team but enjoy the backing and rewards of being part of a growing company.


THE ROLE WILL INCLUDE:


Key Responsibilities

  • New Business Generation: Identifying key decision-makers and securing new clients across corporate, or private sectors.
  • Pipeline Management: Proactively manage a high-value pipeline via CRM, ensuring consistent outreach and follow-up. 
  • Overseeing sales processes and monitoring incoming briefs on designated accounts 
  • Sales Strategy: Developing and executing strategies to meet or exceed monthly/annual revenue targets.
  • CRM and Reporting: Managing sales pipelines, tracking KPIs, and reporting to senior management.
  • Market Intel: Stay one step ahead by monitoring industry trends and competitor moves to keep us at the forefront. 
  • Relationship Management: Networking with key stakeholders, and attending industry events, 
  • Commercial Negotiation: Structure and negotiate complex contracts, ensuring profitability while delivering maximum value to the client. 
  • Represent the organisation at major industry events to actively generate leads, build brand awareness, and expand our market presence 
  • Travel Ready: A willingness to travel globally to meet clients or oversee the initial stages of a high-stakes activation. 


ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:


• 3 years minimum sales manager experience.

• Proactive & enthusiastic person with the ability to work independently

• Evidence of meeting Sales and Networking targets

• Strong & professional telephone manner

• A team player with the ability to lead on multiple projects

• Excellent organisational skills

• Self-starter attitude

• Ability to effectively manage own time

• IT skills, ability to work effectively using internal systems especially MS Office

THE PACKAGE:


Starting Salary: £36,000 per annum depending on experience
