About the Opportunity

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a qualified Finance Manager to join a large, international organisation undergoing continued growth and transformation. This role offers the chance to work within a dynamic, fast-paced environment where innovation, collaboration and continuous improvement are highly valued.

You will play a key role in delivering high-quality management accounting, financial control and reporting activities across multiple business entities. Working closely with senior stakeholders, you will provide meaningful financial insight, support decision-making and help drive process improvements across the finance function.

This position is ideal for a commercially minded accountant who enjoys operating in a complex environment and is passionate about delivering excellence while identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and controls.

Key ResponsibilitiesManagement Accounting & Reporting
  • Lead month-end accounting activities and ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Prepare and review journals, accruals, prepayments and other accounting entries.
  • Produce insightful financial analysis and reporting to support business decision-making.
  • Ensure delivery of reporting requirements within strict deadlines.
  • Provide commentary and recommendations on financial performance and key trends.
Financial Control & Compliance
  • Maintain and strengthen internal control frameworks.
  • Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations, resolving issues proactively.
  • Support compliance with financial reporting standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Liaise with internal and external auditors, providing supporting documentation and explanations as required.
  • Identify risks and implement appropriate mitigation strategies.
Process Improvement & Transformation
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across finance processes.
  • Identify opportunities to simplify, standardise and automate activities.
  • Work collaboratively with finance and technology teams to enhance efficiency.
  • Support transformation projects aimed at improving financial reporting and controls.
Stakeholder Management
  • Build strong relationships with finance and operational stakeholders.
  • Present financial information clearly and confidently to senior management.
  • Influence decision-making through high-quality analysis and recommendations.
  • Act as a trusted finance partner across the organisation.
About YouEssential Experience & Qualifications
  • Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
  • Strong management accounting and/or audit background.
  • Solid understanding of IFRS and US GAAP.
  • Experience working within a large, complex organisation.
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience using financial systems such as Oracle, Hyperion/HFM or similar.
  • Proven ability to manage competing priorities and meet demanding deadlines.
  • Experience researching and interpreting complex accounting or reporting issues.
