Welder / Fabricator – Days

Location: Bradford

Pay Rate: £20.00 per hour (depending on experience)

Swift Temps Ltd – Bradford Team are seeking a skilled and experienced Welder / Fabricator to join our client’s team.

About the Role

We are looking for a fully competent sheet metal worker/welder fabricator who can work both in the workshop and on-site as required.

You should be able to:

• Work with Stainless Steel


• Operate machine tools including bending, and cutting equipment


• Work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a small team


• Communicate effectively in customer-facing situations

Key Responsibilities

• Manufacture components from engineering drawings or verbal instructions


• Fabricate and weld specialist and bespoke items


• Use a full range of workshop equipment


• Perform MIG and TIG welding of mild and stainless steel to a good standard


• Install completed items on customer premises

Essential Skills

• MIG and TIG welding experience


• Fully competent in sheet metal work


• Strong fabrication skills

Working Hours

• 08.00 to 16.30 Monday - Thursday and Friday 08.00 - 15.30


• 39 hours per week


• Temp-to-perm role with opportunity for permanent employment


• Accrued holiday pay on top of hourly rate
