Group Operations Assistant - Bradford, West Yorkshire
Are you an experienced Acturis user looking to take the next step in your insurance career?
Our client, a well-established and growing insurance business, is seeking a proactive and highly organised Group Operations Assistant to support the delivery of operational excellence across the organisation.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic operations team where you'll play a key role in the development, maintenance and optimisation of business-critical systems, while supporting process improvement initiatives across multiple departments.
Working closely with senior operational leadership, you will help drive efficiencies, enhance reporting capabilities and support the successful operation of delegated authority schemes, premium finance processes and third-party platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Configure, maintain and enhance the Acturis platform to support business operations.
- Provide troubleshooting and user support for Acturis-related queries across the organisation.
- Create and develop reports, dashboards and management information using Acturis reporting tools.
- Design and maintain document templates, workflows and automation processes.
- Review and assess new Acturis developments, updates and system enhancements.
- Support the administration of delegated authority schemes and premium finance arrangements.
- Assist with the management of third-party web-based portals and operational systems.
- Work collaboratively with stakeholders to identify efficiencies and implement process improvements.
- Attend supplier and user group meetings where required, helping to represent business requirements.
- Support wider operational projects and initiatives aimed at improving service delivery and best practice.
Candidate Requirements:
- Strong recent experience using Acturis within an insurance broking environment.
- Experience creating reports, dashboards, workflows and document templates within Acturis.
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills, including Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive, solution-focused mindset.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced environment.
- High attention to detail and a commitment to delivering quality outcomes.
Desirable Experience:
- Experience implementing or supporting delegated authority schemes within Acturis.
- Knowledge of insurance broking operations, processes and terminology.
- Customer-facing insurance broking experience.
- Understanding of FCA compliance requirements.
- Experience working with premium finance providers.
