About the role
As Health and Safety Advisor for the North, you'll provide expert H&S advice and assurance across our social housing operations. You'll support managers to manage risk effectively, deliver safety training programmes, conduct audits, investigate accidents, and drive safety culture improvement.

Role-related assessment, behavioural and scenario-based interview. Complete Congruity Questionnaire in advance.

About you
The essentials
- NEBOSH General Certificate
- Deep understanding of current UK H&S legislative and regulatory requirements
- Experience of internal auditing in H&S
- Experience applying H&S legislation and risk management in housing, local authority, healthcare, education or public sector
- Proven ability to provide practical H&S advice to operational managers in a customer-facing setting
- Driven, inquisitive, accountable, open and honest – taking ownership to ensure best outcomes
- Excellent stakeholder relationship building skills
- Social housing sector experience (strongly preferred)
- Regulated public sector background (local government, healthcare, education or housing)
- Customer-focused mindset
- Familiarity with H&S management systems
