Accounts Assistant - #2109545

Reed Accountancy is delighted to be partnering with a growing business in Bradford that is seeking an Accounts Assistant to join its finance team. This is a full-time, office-based role, although part-time hours will be considered for the right candidate. The position offers the opportunity to take ownership of your workload and would suit a proactive individual with a positive, can-do approach.

Responsibilities:

• Generate and reconcile purchase orders
• Assist with purchase ledger, processing and posting supplier invoices
• Process and reconcile company credit card transactions and receipts
• Maintain reconciliation schedules and Excel-based trackers
• Handle supplier and customer queries professionally
• Assist with financial analysis and general finance admin tasks
• Perform daily bank and credit card reconciliations
• Process and reconcile company credit card transactions and receipts

You will need to demonstrate:

• Experience using Xero (desirable)
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Good working knowledge of Excel (e.g formulas, reconciliation work)
• Studying or interested in studying AAT (desirable)
• Strong communication skills both written and verbal
