1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant

We're looking for dedicated, patient and proactive SEN Teaching Assistants to provide 1:1 support for children with a variety of additional needs in Bradford. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about helping pupils thrive academically, socially and emotionally.

The Role

• Provide 1:1 support tailored to the needs of individual pupils
• Work with children with autism, ADHD, speech & language needs, SEMH, learning delays, sensory needs, and other additional needs
• Support pupils in class, during interventions, and through personalised learning activities
• Help create a calm, inclusive and engaging learning environment
• Work closely with teachers, SENCOs and external professionals
• Encourage independence, confidence and positive behaviour

What We're Looking For

• Experience supporting children or young people with SEND
• A nurturing, patient and adaptable approach
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to build trusting relationships with pupils
• Confidence supporting behaviour, emotional regulation and communication
• Reliability and commitment to helping children succeed
