Finance Assistant - #2117021

Reed Accountancy is delighted to be partnering with a Bradford-based business in their search for a Finance Assistant to join their team. This full-time, office-based role will focus on purchase ledger, sales ledger, and credit control duties, offering the opportunity to work within a small, friendly, and supportive team. As the business continues to grow, there is scope for the role to evolve over time.

Responsibilities:

• Code purchase invoices and credit notes
• Set up new supplier accounts
• Match up delivery notes and PO’s
• Post and allocated supplier payments to ledger
• Assist with month end duties where necessary
• Input of purchase invoices and credit notes onto the system
• Assist with resolving queries
• Check authorisation of orders
• Credit control duties
• Sales invoicing
• Set up new customer accounts
• Credit check new suppliers and customers
• Post and allocate customer receipts to ledger
• Assist with answering the switchboard and ad hoc admin tasks

You will need to demonstrate:

• Experience with purchase ledger and sales ledger/credit control
• Good knowledge of Sage 50 and Excel
• Able to work on own initiative
• Happy to work as part of a small team
• Good organisational and communication skills
