We are working with a specialist and well-established law firm looking to appoint an experienced Family Solicitor or Legal Executive to join its growing team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a family lawyer with at least 2 years' experience who is confident managing their own caseload and wants to work within a supportive environment with genuine opportunities for progression and business development.
The RoleYou will handle a varied caseload covering both private and publicly funded family work, including:
- Private children matters.
- Domestic abuse cases, including Non-Molestation and Occupation Orders.
- Divorce and financial remedy proceedings.
- Cohabitation and disputes between unmarried couples.
- General family and childcare matters.
- Legal aid work and privately funded cases.
The successful candidate will be expected to manage matters with a good level of autonomy while working collaboratively with the wider team.
About YouWe are looking for someone who:
- Has a minimum of 2 years' relevant family law experience.
- Has experience handling their own caseload.
- Understands the requirements of legal aid work.
- Is confident dealing with clients and complex family matters.
- Can work independently while contributing to a supportive team.
- Is commercially aware and comfortable working towards billing targets.
- Is keen to develop their own network and generate private client work.
- Is willing to work towards relevant panel accreditation where required.
