Mechanical Fitter

£31,500pd, Bradford Centre, regular OT available at 1.5 x's and 2 x's, yearly pay rises , early finish Friday

Fantastic opportunity for a mechanical fitter to work on interesting machinery build and repair projects. Great environment, regular training and salary reviews in line with skill set.

You role will include:

• Manufacturing mechanical systems to drawings
• Undertaking repair, maintenance, test and installation of systems as required
• Working to set production targets and SOP's
• Diagnosing and repairing faults and technical problems
• Working in line with H & S and ensuring equipment is calibrated and safe.
• Undertake plastic pipe fitting working to P & ID drawings

You will have:

• Proven mechanical fitting experience in a workshop environment
• Hold Level 3 NVQ in Mechanical engineering
• The ability to troubleshoot, test, repair and service technical equipment.
• Proven mechanical background in commercial or Industrial installations.
• The ability to interpret technical drawings, layout and General Assembly.
• work to a high quality level and be able to undertake equipment testing
• Experience with pipework or poly prop fusion of interest but not essential

• Working hours are 7.30-4pm Monday to Thursday with 3pm finish on Fridays
• Hourly rate starting at £15.57 increasing to £16.04 after probation pass. 39 hours per week.
