Location: Bradford
Salary: £35,000 £40,000, depending on experience
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm
Contract: Full-time, permanent

We are recruiting an Experienced Freight Professional to join a busy freight forwarding operation in Bradford. The successful candidate will work primarily within the FCL Import Department, coordinating import shipments and delivering excellent customer service.

• Arranging import consignments from booking through to delivery

• Planning and booking deliveries

• Monitoring shipments and providing customers with updates

• Completing shipping documentation

• Entering and maintaining accurate shipment data

• Raising customer invoices and processing purchase invoices

• Liaising with customers, shipping lines, hauliers and other service providers

• Completing general administrative duties

• Maintaining accurate and well-organised files

• At least one to two years' experience within shipping, freight forwarding or a similar environment

• Previous import shipment experience, ideally involving FCL imports

• Knowledge of customs procedures and customs software would be advantageous

• A strong commitment to excellent customer service

• Clear and confident communication skills

• A proactive, organised and dependable approach

• The ability to prioritise tasks effectively

• Strong file-management skills and attention to detail

• The ability to work independently and as part of a team

• A positive attitude and collaborative approach

• A salary of £35,000 to £40,000, depending on experience
