Functional Skills English & Maths Tutor Required (SEND Learner) - BD10
We are seeking an experienced Functional Skills English and Maths Tutor to support a learner based in BD10.
About the Role
- Deliver 1:1 Functional Skills English and Maths tuition in the learner's home.
- Support a learner with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) who has an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP).
- Adapt teaching methods to meet the learner's individual needs and learning style.
- Build a positive, supportive, and engaging learning environment.
Requirements
- Experience teaching Functional Skills English and/or Maths.
- Experience supporting learners with SEND and working in line with EHCP outcomes.
- Comfortable delivering tuition within the learner's home environment.
- Reliable, patient, and able to build positive relationships with learners.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service is essential.
- Relevant teaching, tutoring, or education qualifications preferred.
Pay
- £30-£37 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
