Your New Role
As an Art Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and inspiring lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4. You will encourage creativity, develop students' artistic skills and foster a passion for visual arts through imaginative and well-planned teaching.
Key responsibilities include:
- Planning and delivering high-quality Art lessons.
- Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Assessing, monitoring and tracking student progress.
- Supporting students of varying abilities to achieve their potential.
- Contributing to departmental planning and enrichment activities.
- Upholding high standards of behaviour, safeguarding and attendance.
- Working collaboratively with colleagues to drive excellent outcomes.
This is a full-time temporary position, five days per week, with an immediate start available.
What You'll Need to Succeed
To be successful in this Art Teacher job, you will ideally have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- A degree in Art, Fine Art, Art & Design or a related subject.
- Experience teaching Art within a secondary school setting.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- A passion for creative education and student success.
- The ability to engage, motivate and inspire young learners.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
ECTs are strongly encouraged to apply and will receive support from an experienced team.
