Full time Teaching Assistant Required - Bradford Primary School

Are you a caring, enthusiastic and nurturing Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference to a child's education?

A Bradford Primary School is seeking a positive, dedicated and nurturing Teaching Assistant to provide individualised support to a new pupil joining our school.

The successful applicant will work closely with a Year 4 pupil who is currently accessing learning at the beginning of the Year 2 curriculum. You will play a key role in supporting her personalised learning programme, building her confidence and independence, and helping her to make accelerated progress.

The Role

As a Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Provide consistent, high-quality one-to-one support tailored to the pupil's individual needs.
  • Support her access to a personalised curriculum and classroom learning.
  • Work closely with the class teacher and wider school team to implement appropriate learning strategies.
  • Encourage and celebrate progress, building confidence, resilience and independence.
  • Provide a positive, calm and nurturing influence throughout the school day.
  • Help the pupil to develop both academically and socially.
  • Monitor progress and contribute to identifying next steps in learning.
  • Create a safe, encouraging and inclusive learning environment.

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who is:

  • Warm, patient, positive and nurturing.
  • Passionate about helping children overcome barriers to learning.
  • Able to build strong, trusting relationships with children.
  • Adaptable and able to respond to individual learning needs.
  • Enthusiastic about celebrating small steps and supporting a child to achieve their potential.
  • A positive team player who can work effectively alongside teachers and other professionals.

Applicants should have a relevant Supporting Teaching and Learning qualification or demonstrable experience of supporting children within a classroom setting.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to have a genuine and lasting impact on a child's educational journey. The successful candidate will become an important part of her support network and will help her to develop the skills, confidence and knowledge needed to make significant progress.

If you are enthusiastic, caring and committed to helping every child reach their potential in Bradford, we would love to hear from you.

Salary will be determined by the successful candidate's qualifications and relevant experience, and will be in accordance with the client's pay policy.
