Salary/Benefits: £27k - £40k + Training & Benefits

We are recruiting for an experienced Legionella Risk Assessor in the Yorkshire / North of England. Our client is a medium sized outfit, who specialise in Legionella and Compliance services across the UK. They are seeking someone who demonstrates strong technical knowledge and will be able to hit the ground running upon joining the team. You will be covering a mixed portfolio of client sites, ranging from smaller commercial to larger industrial and local authority. For the successful candidate, our client is able to offer attractive salaries and benefits packages (including a company vehicle, fuel expenses and overtime earning).

Ideally, applicants will be based within the North of England, including: Bradford, Leeds, Dewsbury, Ossett, Wakefield, Normanton, Castleford, Huddersfield, Holmfirth, Halifax, Keighley, Otley, Skipton, Wetherby, Garforth, Tadcaster, York, Selby, Harrogate, Knaresborough, Barnsley, Goole, Thorne, Doncaster, Rotherham, Sheffield, Oldham, Rochdale, Manchester, Stockport, Bolton.

Experience / Qualifications:

• Proven track record working as a Legionella Risk Assessor
• Will hold the City and Guilds (WMSoc) in Legionella Risk Assessing
• Fully conversant in HSG 274 and ACOP L8 guidelines
• Adaptable to client travel requirements
• It would be beneficial to hold plumbing / water hygiene knowledge or experience
• Good literacy, numeracy and IT skills

The Role:

• Carrying out legionella risk assessments on domestic hot and cold water systems
• Collecting water samples and delivering for testing
• Producing bespoke technical reports
• Creating schematic drawings
• Providing advice on findings and informing clients on required works and compliance regimes
• Acting as a key point of contact for clients
• Maintaining strong working relationships with clients
• Working to set personal performance targets
