Are you a Buyer or Purchaser looking to join a global manufacturer where you will play a key role in supplier management, strategic sourcing and cost reduction?

On offer is an excellent opportunity to join a highly successful international manufacturer where you will take ownership of key suppliers and commodities, whilst working closely with Engineering, Manufacturing and Supply Chain teams.

The company are a global leader within the automotive manufacturing sector and supply technically advanced products to major OEM customers across a range of industries.

This is a Monday - Friday hybrid working role. You will develop sourcing strategies, lead supplier negotiations, identify cost reduction opportunities and support new product introduction and engineering change projects. You will also be responsible for monitoring supplier performance across cost, quality, delivery and service.

This position would suit an experienced Buyer looking for a stable permanent position within a well-established global manufacturer offering hybrid working and excellent company benefits.

The Role:

• Manage key suppliers and assigned commodities
• Lead supplier negotiations and sourcing strategies
• Drive cost reduction and value improvement projects
• Monday - Friday.

The Person:

• Buyer / Procurement / Strategic Sourcing background
• Manufacturing / Engineering background advantageous
• Commutable to Bradford
