About the Opportunity

Are you a creative storyteller who loves shooting videos, editing content and creating for social media?

Core Prescribing Solutions (CPS) is looking for an emerging Content Creator to join our marketing team for a 6-month work experience

You'll help us create content across both organic social media and paid campaigns, working on everything from initial ideas and storyboards through to filming, editing and publishing.

This is an work experience opportunity, designed for someone who already has content creation skills and wants to apply them in a professional environment, gain real-world experience and build a stronger media portfolio.

It's a great opportunity for the right person looking to kick-start their career in B2B content creation, gain experience working within a professional organisation and build a portfolio of work created for real audiences and campaigns.

You could be a student, recent graduate, aspiring content creator, freelancer or self-taught creative. We're less interested in your qualifications and more interested in what you can create.

Join us during an exciting period of growth as we recruit exceptional talent to help us expand the business and Take Your Career to New Heights with Core Prescribing Solutions!

What You'll Be Doing

You'll be involved in the full content creation process, including:

  • Brainstorming creative concepts and content ideas
  • Turning ideas into stories, scripts and storyboards
  • Planning shots, locations and B-roll
  • Shooting video with members of the CPS team
  • Creating talking-head, interview, behind-the-scenes and educational content
  • Editing footage in post-production
  • Producing both short-form and long-form video
  • Repurposing long-form content into engaging social clips
  • Creating content for LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube and other relevant platforms
  • Producing creative content for organic social media and paid advertising campaigns
  • Publishing content across social media platforms
  • Using AI tools to support ideation, scripting, editing, repurposing and creative production
  • Keeping up with social trends, formats and emerging creative tools

At the heart of the role is storytelling. We want someone who understands hooks, pacing, narrative and how to turn an idea into something people actually want to watch.

What We're Looking For

You should already have:

  • Practical experience shooting and editing video
  • Experience creating content for social media
  • A strong understanding of storytelling and visual content
  • A creative eye for framing, composition and what looks good on camera
  • An understanding of hooks, pacing and audience attention
  • Confidence using editing tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro / Adobe Creative Suite, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, DaVinci Resolve or similar
  • A good understanding of social media platforms and current content formats
  • An interest in AI-assisted content creation
  • Good communication and time-management skills
  • A proactive, self-sufficient approach to your work

It would be preferred if you also have your own videography equipment that you are comfortable using for shoots.

Experience in digital marketing, photography, graphic design, social media management or paid advertising would also be useful, but isn't essential.

You'll Need to Be Self-Sufficient

This isn't a content creation training programme, so you'll need to already have the foundations to create good content.

You'll be given briefs, direction, business context and feedback from the marketing team, but we'll expect you to take ownership of your work and be proactive about developing your own skills.

That means researching techniques when you need to, experimenting with new tools and formats, solving creative problems and bringing your own ideas to the table.

We don't expect you to know everything, but we do expect you to take initiative and ask for support when you need it.

Although this will start off as an internship, we are looking for someone who will become a part of the wider CPS team and develop the role into their own with long-term career progression.

What You'll Get From the Experience

Over the six months, you'll have the opportunity to:

  • Build a stronger professional media portfolio
  • Gain valuable experience within the B2B industry
  • Create content for a real organisation and live campaigns
  • Work alongside a professional marketing team
  • Gain hands-on experience across the full content production process
  • Produce both organic and paid social content
  • Create short-form and long-form video
  • Work with professionals and subject-matter experts
  • Experiment with AI as part of a real content workflow
  • See your work published across live company channels
  • Build real examples of professional work you can show future employers or clients

For the right person, this could be an opportunity to kick-start a career in professional B2B content creation and demonstrate the value you can bring to CPS through consistent, high-quality content.

There may also be an opportunity to stay on with CPS in a paid content position after the six-month internship, based on your overall performance and CPS's ongoing business requirements.

Hours & Working Arrangement

You'll work 16 hours per week across two 8-hour days:

1 day on-site (8 hours) — primarily focused on planning, storyboarding, scripting, filming, interviews and capturing content with the CPS team on-site at their Bradford office.

1 day on-site (8 hours) — primarily focused on editing, post-production, AI-assisted content creation, repurposing content and preparing/publishing content across social media.

We understand you may be balancing university, freelance work or other commitments, so CPS will offer reasonable flexibility with advance notice.

You'll also need to be flexible around CPS's content requirements. Occasionally, your usual in-person day may need to change to accommodate a shoot, event, webinar, campaign or other content opportunity. Wherever possible, this will be agreed in advance.

Travel and lunch expenses are covered up to a combined maximum of £15 per day (where receipts are provided).

Therefore, applicants should be based in Yorkshire or within reasonable travelling distance of CPS.

How to Apply

Send us:

  • Your CV containing a summary of your content creation experience
  • A brief introduction telling us why you're interested in the opportunity and what you can bring to CPS (Want to stand out? Send us a short intro video!)
  • Examples of video or social media content you've created (essential)

Your examples don't need to be professional client work. They could be university projects, personal content, freelance work or something you've created simply to develop your skills.

We will not consider any applicants who apply without a portfolio of their creative work.

This is an immediate start position to commence mid-October (date to be confirmed during the final stage interviews). So, if this sounds like the opportunity you’ve been looking for, get your application in ASAP.

We look forward to hearing from you.

Application question(s):

  • Can you briefly tell me about your current situation and your experience with content creation?
  • Do you have practical experience filming and editing videos yourself?
  • Do you have your own videography equipment that you would be able to use for content shoots? If so, what equipment do you have?
  • The internship is 16 hours per week for six months, consisting of two 8-hour days in our Bradford office. Are you able to commit to this
  • This is an unpaid six-month work experience internship. Travel and lunch expenses are reimbursed up to a combined maximum of £15 per day when receipts are provided. Can you confirm you're happy to proceed on that basis?
  • What interested you in this particular opportunity, and what are you hoping to gain from it?
  • Work Location: Hybrid remote in Bradford
