My client is looking for an experienced legal cashier or credit control professional who has worked in the legal industry, that is looking for a new environment to thrive in. Description

• Process client and office account transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Reconcile bank accounts and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Manage daily banking tasks, including cheque and electronic payments.
• Handle client ledger balances and ensure timely resolution of discrepancies.
• Prepare and distribute financial reports as required by the finance team.
• Support internal audits and ensure adherence to financial policies.
• Assist with month-end and year-end processes for the accounting team.
• Provide support with ad hoc financial tasks and queries.

Profile

A successful Legal Cashier should have:

• Similar experience in a Legal Cashier or Credit Control/Sales Ledger role
• Experience in the legal industry is preferred
• Positive attitude and wanting to contribute to a friendly working environment
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial transactions.
• Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Good organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively

Job Offer

• Salary up to £33,000
• Hybrid working (4 days on site 1 day at home after probation)
