In-House Litigation Solicitor (Defendant) | Bradford (hybrid, 2 days) | NQ-5 PQE

I'm working with a large, well-known telecoms and media group to recruit a litigation solicitor into its in-house claims team in Bradford.

This is a chance to run a varied defendant caseload in-house, rather than as panel counsel, with only two days a week in the office.

The role

- Running your own portfolio of around 100-120 defendant matters, lasting from three months to three years

- Work across five streams: employer's liability, public liability, road traffic, property damage and consumer litigation

- Consumer matters include breach of contract, discrimination, credit file and data protection claims

- Analysing new instructions to assess prospects and direct investigations

- Supporting paralegals and apprentices in the team

About you

- Qualified Solicitor, NQ to 5 PQE

- Defendant litigation experience, ideally in insurance or volume claims

- Strong working knowledge of the CPR and confident managing court deadlines on a busy caseload

- Experience in some of the five streams; you don't need all of them

- Able to travel to the Bradford office on Mondays and Tuesdays

- Hybrid: Mondays and Tuesdays in the office, the rest from home

- Free on-site parking
