Reed is recruiting on behalf of an established client based in Bradford, due to continued growth our client is adding a Sales Account Manager to the team on a permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated sales professional who enjoys building relationships, developing accounts and working within a fast-paced operational environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Generate new business opportunities through proactive business development activities.
• Manage and develop a portfolio of existing accounts across construction, utilities, highways and infrastructure sectors.
• Conduct client visits, networking activities and site meetings to build strong relationships.
• Identify customer requirements and provide tailored traffic management solutions.
• Prepare and present quotations, proposals and service agreements.
• Follow up quotations and negotiate commercial terms to secure new contracts.
• Work closely with the operations team to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity and industry developments.
• Achieve agreed sales targets, revenue growth and account development objectives.
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, quotations and opportunities within the CRM system.
• Support account reviews and provide regular updates on business performance.
• Develop long-term partnerships with decision makers and stakeholders.

Skills & Experience Required

• Previous experience in a sales, account management or business development role.
• Proven ability to generate new business and grow existing accounts.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Strong negotiation and influencing abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple client accounts effectively.
• Self-motivated with a proactive and results-driven approach.
• Competent with Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
