GXO Logistics

Are you an experienced finance professional who is ready to take on your next challenge? Are you looking for a fulfilling and rewarding career rather than just another job? Do you crave an autonomous environment where you have the freedom to really make your own mark on things? Then you’re in the right place!

We are currently looking for a Finance Manager to join our M&S Clothing & Home operation at Bradford, where you’ll ensure the integrity and accuracy of the financial accounts and develop strong business relationships with operations and commercial teams. Responsible for delivering an excellent financial service to both Marks & Spencer and the internal management team within GXO Logistics, you’ll create and maintain reports, provide analysis for the management team and ensure robust financial controls are in line with SOX compliance standards.

This role is being offered on a full-time, permanent basis, the hours of work are Monday to Friday, 09:00 - 17:00. However, we do require a level of flexibility - this is logistics after all!

Pay, benefits and more:

You’ll be paid a salary of up to £65,000 per annum. You’ll also receive 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays), as well as the option to buy additional days so you can enjoy a positive work-life balance. You’ll have access to private healthcare, a dental plan, a workplace pension and our GXO University which provides you the opportunity to learn new skills and gain qualifications at a pace that you’re comfortable with. Plus, many other perks such as a variety of high street discounts, a cycle to work scheme and our continued focus on internal promotions, over 55% last year!

What you’ll do on a typical day:

  • You’ll oversee and produce the weekly/monthly/quarterly financial and KPI reporting, including the delivery of GXO month end processes and balance sheets
  • You’ll lead, manage, coach and develop your team to exceed expectations - you will bring the team together ensuring everyone is working towards a common goal
  • You’ll be responsible for ensuring the annual operation plan and quarterly revisions are completed and submitted to our customer in the agreed timescales
  • You’ll be a key player in driving the onsite CI agenda, including driving cost saving initiatives and accurate data reporting, challenging the status quo and delivering maximum benefit to the business

What you need to succeed at GXO:

  • Proven experience in a fast paced, dynamic environment, producing management accounts and KPI reporting
  • Experience in producing financial reports and analysis with meaningful commentary
  • Experience in building strong business relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Be an effective influencer and communicator, able to positively engage and empower others
  • Full qualified CIMA, ACCA or QBE.
