Summary of Position

The Client Manager owns a diverse portfolio of Crown customers, with accountability for customer satisfaction, retention, strategic development and commercial performance. The role builds trusted partnerships, anticipates customer needs and uses data, technology and cross-functional collaboration to deliver measurable improvements. Working closely with Operations, Finance, Customer Support, Business Support and Technology, the Client Manager provides proactive leadership of customer relationships and contractual commitments.

Education, Skills and Experience

Essential

• At least two years’ experience in account management, client services or a comparable customer-facing role.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, relationship management and stakeholder influencing skills.
• Strong organisational, analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Confidence with Microsoft 365, including Excel, PowerPoint, Teams and Outlook.
• Experience using a CRM system and a commitment to maintaining high-quality customer records.
• A proactive, consultative mindset and genuine interest in AI, technology and smarter ways of working.

Desirable

• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365, Microsoft Copilot, Power BI or Power Automate.
• Experience managing public sector customers, government contracts or procurement frameworks.
• Project coordination, customer implementation or digital change experience.

A flexible approach to working hours may be required to meet business and customer needs.

What to expect from the recruitment process

• Every hire starts with a chat with our Talent Acquisition team, if your profile is selected you will be contacted by phone or email (please check your spam folder);
• Then, if you are progressing, the hiring manager will invite you to an interview, usually on Teams;
• If you are successful we will invite you to our office for a final stage interview.

Wherever possible we will provide you with feedback, however we are a small team and often we won't be able to do so until after we fill the vacancy.

Note that this role requires a DBS and a security clearance process (you must have lived in the UK for 5 consecutive years to be eligible) and a DBS check. Do not apply if you are not willing to undergo these conditional background checks, this continually applies during the course of your employment.
