Customer Service Administrator

Bradford (BD3) | 12-week temp to perm | £24,785 (£12.71 PER HOUR)| Monday to Friday, finish at 3pm on Fridays

A well-established Bradford business is growing its Customer Services team. The team is friendly and supportive, you’ll get full training, and after 12 weeks there’s a real chance to move into a permanent role.

It’s a varied position covering everything from pre-sales enquiries to order processing and after-sales support. If you enjoy keeping things organised and like getting things right for customers, you’ll fit straight in.

What you’ll be doing

• Managing your own group of customers for after-sales support: logging cases and arranging replacement, damaged or missing parts
• Processing web orders every day and checking them for accuracy before confirmations go out
• Handling phone, email, live chat and ticket enquiries, from product advice to complaints
• Entering trade orders, setting up new accounts and raising quotes in Excel
• Raising pro forma invoices and chasing payments
• Liaising with installation teams based around the UK
• Helping other departments when needed, and contributing ideas to improve how things work

What you’ll bring

• Experience in a customer service role
• A confident phone manner and strong written communication
• Good attention to detail and the ability to prioritise a busy workload
• Confidence with Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Happy working on your own initiative or as part of a team

Experience with CRM systems or Magento would help, but it isn’t essential because full training is provided.

The package

• £24,785 salary when you go permanent
• 25 days’ holiday plus bank holidays
• Monday to Thursday 8:30am to 5pm, Friday 9am to 3pm
• Office based in Bradford, with parking and transport links to confirm
