Resident Forklift Engineer - Bradford - #2174196

Job Title: Resident Forklift Engineer  
Location; Bradford
OTE: upto £46,125
Shift: 4 on 4 off (10 hour shift between 6am-6pm) 

Due to an increasing workload, we are recruiting for a resident forklift engineer – you will be working for a well-established, employee-focused forklift and material handling company.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Performing servicing, maintenance and repair work on a broad range of forklift trucks and material handling equipment
• Identifying and resolving mechanical, electrical and hydraulic issues
• Carrying out LOLER inspections to ensure all equipment remains fully compliant
• Completing safety checks and pre-delivery inspections
• Accurately filling out service reports and job sheets
• Effectively organising and managing your workload and service schedule
• Communicating with parts departments to ensure the correct components are sourced and installed

What you’ll need:

• Experience as a Forklift engineer / Plant Fitter / Agricultural technician / HGV technician
• Proven experience of servicing, maintaining & repairing diesel engines
• Confident working with electrics, hydraulics and diagnostic equipment
• Full UK driving licence

Your Package:

• basic salary of £34,000–£36,000 + 15% shift allowance
• OTE £39,100–£41,400 per annum including shift allowance
• OTE based on 1 hours overtime a shift: £(phone number removed) - £46,125
• Hours: 4 on 4 off (10 hour shift between 6am-6pm) 
• Overtime paid at 1.5x
