Contract type: Full time

Are you an experienced fundraising and development professional with strong writing, analytical and organisational skills? Do you enjoy bringing information together, managing funding applications and demonstrating the impact of an organisation's work?

We are looking for a Development & Insight Manager to play a key role in supporting the fundraising, grant management, evaluation and impact reporting activities of an established cultural organisation.

Working closely with the Head of Development & Insight, you will take ownership of day-to-day processes, ensuring funding applications and reports are delivered to a high standard, deadlines are met and accurate information is available to demonstrate the organisation's achievements and support future development.

The Role

This is a varied position combining fundraising, grant administration, data analysis and impact reporting. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Researching funding opportunities, managing the fundraising pipeline and preparing high-quality funding applications.
  • Managing grant awards, monitoring funding conditions and ensuring reporting requirements and deadlines are met.
  • Coordinating Arts Council England National Portfolio Organisation (NPO) monitoring and reporting, including Grantium submissions.
  • Collecting and analysing audience, programme and evaluation data to demonstrate organisational impact.
  • Leading the preparation of the annual impact report and producing clear reports, analysis and recommendations.
  • Working with colleagues across departments to gather financial, programme and performance information.
  • Maintaining accurate records, reporting schedules and tracking systems, while identifying opportunities to improve processes.

About You

You will be an organised, proactive and detail-focused professional who can manage competing priorities and take ownership of your workload. You will be confident working independently while building effective relationships with colleagues across the organisation.

You will also bring:

  • Experience preparing funding applications and managing grant reporting requirements.
  • Excellent written communication, research and analytical skills.
  • Experience working with data, evaluation or impact reporting.
  • Strong project management and organisational skills, with the ability to meet multiple deadlines.
  • A high level of accuracy, sound judgement and a practical approach to problem-solving.
  • Confidence using spreadsheets, databases and information-management systems.

Experience within the arts, cultural, charitable or not-for-profit sectors would be advantageous, as would knowledge of Arts Council England NPO funding and reporting requirements.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys combining fundraising and development with data, evaluation and reporting, and who wants to make a meaningful contribution to an organisation's continued success.

Please note that, due to the volume of applications we receive, we may not be able to respond to everyone. If you have not heard from us within 7 days, please assume your application has been unsuccessful on this occasion.
