Temporary Receptionist - Immediate Start

Bradford | £12.71 per hour | Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 4:00pm

Our client is looking for an experienced and professional Receptionist to join their team on a temporary basis with an immediate start available.

This is a busy and rewarding front-of-house role where you will act as the first point of contact for visitors and callers. You will be welcoming and assisting members of the public, some of whom may be facing challenging personal circumstances, therefore empathy, patience and excellent communication skills are essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Acting as the first point of contact for all visitors and telephone enquiries.
• Meeting and greeting members of the public in a friendly and professional manner.
• Managing a busy switchboard and directing calls efficiently.
• Handling enquiries with sensitivity, discretion and professionalism.
• Providing administrative support to the wider team.
• Maintaining accurate records and updating internal systems.
• Ensuring reception areas remain professional and welcoming.
• Signposting visitors and callers to the appropriate departments and services.

Skills & Experience Required

• Previous Receptionist experience (essential)
• Experience working with a busy switchboard.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to remain calm and professional when dealing with challenging situations.
• Excellent organisational and administrative skills.
• Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
• A compassionate, approachable and professional manner.

Essential Requirement

A current Standard DBS certificate is required for this role.

• £12.71 per hour
