Mechanical Project Manager - #2179443

We are working with an established M&E Contractor who is looking to appoint a mechanically biased Site Manager or Project Manager to oversee the mechanical installation works on a new-build modular mental health hospital.

The project comprises a two-storey facility with over 50 bedrooms, treatment rooms and associated facilities, incorporating extensive mechanical building services installations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day delivery of mechanical installations on site.

• Manage and coordinate mechanical subcontractors, ensuring works are delivered safely and to programme.

• Supervise installations including plant rooms, air source heat pumps, air handling units, HVAC systems and underfloor heating.

• Coordinate site activities and liaise with the wider project delivery team.

• Take ownership of mechanical works throughout the 12-month programme.

Ideal Background

• Strong background in mechanical building services / M&E contracting.

• Experience as a Mechanical Site Manager, Project Manager, Project Engineer or Mechanical Supervisor.

• Good technical understanding of plant rooms, HVAC, heating and associated mechanical systems.

• Confident managing subcontractors and coordinating site activities.

• Open to experienced managers or ambitious individuals looking to step up into project management.
