Project Freight Forwarding Operator - #2189572

We now have an exciting opportunity for a Project Freight Forwarding Operator based at our client's facility in Bradford
This exciting opportunity involves organising the movement of multi modal cargo worldwide. You will organise imports, exports, cross trades and domestic movement of cargo by any mode of transport, air, sea and road, including handling of Out of Gauge cargo / Abnormal loads

Main Responsibilities
* Calculating and supplying competitive quotations to existing and potential domestic / international customers for all transport modes and routes, but mainly sea and road freight
* Negotiate with carriers regarding specific rates, space availability, container and transport load planning
* Arranging collections and deliveries using designated agents, project planning
* Handling documentation, customs clearances

This role handles all aspects of multimodal traffic so in order to apply you will have exposure to freight forwarding from a sea or road freight background. You will be offered training in freight projects and the specific challenges the moving of abnormal freight

Experience required
* Sea and / or Road freight exports
* Ideally global project freight experience
* Competent knowledge of the freight forwarding industry
