This is an exciting opportunity for a clinical psychologist or senior psychological therapist to join Bradford District Care Trust community psychological therapies service in a key clinical lead role to lead on our commitment to culturally sensitive services that embrace anti-racist practice and inclusion for all marginalised groups.
The post holder will work as an embedded member of the multi disciplinary team and will be passionate about supporting formulation, reflective trauma informed practice and direct therapeutic work, as well as consultation and joint work with team members bringing a critical friend approach to changing practice to be more inclusive and aware.
The post will be split 50:50 between clinical practice outlined above and leadership in therapy services to develop a clear programme of training and reflective spaces around race, equality and diversity in therapy, develop closer working relationships with our partner agencies in the voluntary sector and acute services and to lead on the development of world leading innovative practice and research that is co-created and evaluate the impact of culturally adapted or co-developed interventions.
