About The Higher Level Teaching Assistant Role

As an Higher Level Teaching Assistant, youll have the chance to work in a variety of primary schools across Pudsey. These schools are based centrally to the Pudsey area and you will be working with a variety of students on a whole class and 1:1 basis.

Key Responsibilities As An Higher Level Teaching Assistant

• Provide 1:1 and group support for children, helping them access the curriculum and achieve their goals.
• Assist in implementing tailored learning and behaviour plans for pupils with a range of needs.
• Collaborate with teachers, SENCOs, and other staff to create a supportive and inclusive environment.
• Support pupils emotional and social development, encouraging independence and confidence.
