Junior Packaging Technologist - #1752217

Alexander Steele are working with an established Multi-Site ambient food manufacturer in West Yorkshire which are looking to recruit a Junior Packaging Technologist. The ideal candidate has aspirations for a career in Technical/Quality and has experience working with Packaging. ResponsibilitiesManage and maintain packaging documentation, including specification updates, artwork approvals, sample logs, and supplier certificates, ensuring all records are accurate, up to date, and audit-ready.

Assist in the development, testing, and implementation of new packaging materials to ensure product quality, safety, and shelf life. Support packaging trials on production lines, recording data and identifying any issues related to performance or compliance. Liaise with suppliers to source samples, request technical data, and support cost-saving or sustainability initiatives.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including NPD, technical, and operations to ensure packaging solutions meet operational and commercial needs.
