What You’ll Do
Deliver evidence-based occupational health advice to support managers and HR teams in managing employee health, absence, and return-to-work plans
Provide expert medical assessments, case reviews, and health surveillance (including Tier 4 HAVS assessments if certified)
Write clear, professional reports and deliver verbal case guidance
Support ill health retirement assessments and contribute to case conferences and absence reviews
Play an active role in setting and maintaining OH clinical standards and strategies
Represent clients externally and uphold our strong professional reputation
Contribute to quality assurance processes to support our clinical governance framework
Work Flexibility
You’ll have the option to work remotely, at our clinic, or onsite with clients—providing a balanced and flexible work environment
About You
GMC-registered Occupational Health Physician
Hold at least a Diploma in Occupational Medicine (DipOccMed); AFOM, MFOM or FFOM qualifications are highly desirable
Ideally have NHS experience and qualifications to undertake health surveillance for substances like asbestos, lead, and ionising radiation
Tier 4 HAVS certification is a plus
Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively, empathetically, and professionally
Experienced in managing complex health cases
IT literate with excellent report writing skills
A full driving licence and access to your own vehicle
A solid understanding of Health & Safety legislation and COSHH-related health surveillance requirements
