Lodestone Recruitment is working in partnership with a well-established precision engineering company in Bradford, supporting their search for an experienced CNC Turner. This is a permanent role offering long-term stability and excellent working conditions.

The Role

You will be responsible for programming, setting, and operating CNC lathes using Fanuc controls, producing precision components in small batches or one-offs. Key duties include:

• Programming and operating CNC lathes


• Reading and interpreting detailed engineering drawings


• Machining to tight tolerances


• Ensuring high standards of quality and accuracy

Candidate Requirements

• Apprentice trained or time-served CNC Turner


• Confident programming with Fanuc-based controls


• Precision engineering background, ideally in sectors like Automotive, Aerospace, or Oil & Gas


• Experience with small batch or one-off production work

What’s on Offer

• Salary: £30,500 - £34,000 per annum


• Hours: 7:00am – 4:00pm (Mon–Thurs), 7:00am – 12:00pm (Fri) – 39 hours/week


• Overtime paid at time and a half
