Salary: £35,000 - £40,000
Contract: Full time, permanent, hybrid
CRA Consulting is pleased to be partnering with a respected and expanding law firm to recruit an experienced Non-Qualified Fee Earner to join its established Personal Injury team.
This opportunity is ideal for a skilled fee earner or paralegal with a strong background in claimant personal injury litigation who is looking to further their career within a supportive, forward-thinking, and fast-paced legal environment.
Joining a well-regarded Personal Injury department, you will take ownership of a varied caseload of claimant matters, handling a mix of Employer's Liability (EL), Public Liability (PL), and Road Traffic Accident (RTA) claims. The successful candidate will benefit from exposure to high-quality work, ongoing support, and the opportunity to work alongside experienced legal professionals in a collaborative team environment.
The firm is particularly interested in speaking with candidates who are comfortable managing both pre-litigated and litigated files and who demonstrate a genuine commitment to delivering exceptional client service.
- Managing a caseload of EL, PL, and RTA claims from instruction through to settlement
- Handling both pre-litigated and litigated personal injury matters
- Assessing liability, causation, and quantum
- Preparing legal correspondence, witness statements, and court documentation
- Liaising with clients, insurers, medical experts, and other relevant parties
- Ensuring claims progress efficiently and in accordance with procedural deadlines
- Negotiating settlements and providing clear, practical advice to clients throughout the claims process
- Maintaining accurate case records and ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal procedures
To be considered for this position, you should possess:
- Previous experience managing claimant personal injury files
- Proven experience handling EL, PL, and RTA claims
- A solid understanding of the litigation process and Civil Procedure Rules (CPR)
- Excellent communication and client care skills
- The ability to manage a busy caseload with minimal supervision
- Strong organisational skills and keen attention to detail
