Our work includes residential, commercial, industrial, and refurbishment schemes, ranging from individual domestic extensions to multi-million-pound developments.

As a growing practice, we offer graduates the opportunity to gain broad experience, take on responsibility early in their careers, and work closely with experienced engineers and directors.

THE ROLE

We are seeking a motivated Graduate Structural Engineer to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent engineering graduate to develop their technical skills and gain hands-on experience across all stages of structural design and project delivery.

You will work alongside senior engineers on a variety of projects, assisting with structural analysis, design calculations, structural drawings, site inspections, and client liaison.

KEY RESPONSIBILITES

  • Assist in the structural design of steel, concrete, masonry, and timber structures.
  • Prepare structural calculations, reports, and technical specifications.
  • Support the production and review of engineering drawings and details.
  • Undertake site visits, surveys, and inspections.
  • Liaise with architects, contractors, and other design team members.
  • Contribute to project delivery from concept design through to construction.
  • Ensure designs comply with relevant British Standards, Eurocodes, and Building Regulations.
  • Support senior engineers with project administration and technical coordination.

ABOUT YOU

  • Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (BEng or MEng).
  • Understanding of structural engineering principles.
  • Experience using structural analysis and design software.
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD and/or Revit.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Full UK driving licence or willingness to travel to project sites when required.

WHAT WE OFFER

  • Competitive graduate salary (£28,000 - £30,000 per annum).
  • Exposure to a wide variety of projects and sectors.
  • Flexible and supportive working environment.
  • Pension scheme.
  • Generous annual leave allowance.
