THE ROLE
We are seeking a motivated Graduate Structural Engineer to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent engineering graduate to develop their technical skills and gain hands-on experience across all stages of structural design and project delivery.
You will work alongside senior engineers on a variety of projects, assisting with structural analysis, design calculations, structural drawings, site inspections, and client liaison.
KEY RESPONSIBILITES
- Assist in the structural design of steel, concrete, masonry, and timber structures.
- Prepare structural calculations, reports, and technical specifications.
- Support the production and review of engineering drawings and details.
- Undertake site visits, surveys, and inspections.
- Liaise with architects, contractors, and other design team members.
- Contribute to project delivery from concept design through to construction.
- Ensure designs comply with relevant British Standards, Eurocodes, and Building Regulations.
- Support senior engineers with project administration and technical coordination.
ABOUT YOU
- Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (BEng or MEng).
- Understanding of structural engineering principles.
- Experience using structural analysis and design software.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD and/or Revit.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Full UK driving licence or willingness to travel to project sites when required.
