Fabrication & Assembly Technician
Bradford, £ £13.30- £13.80 per hour
We're looking for a skilled and hands-on Fabrication & Assembly Technician to join a busy production team, working on the build and completion of high-quality modular structures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble modular and timber-based structures in line with detailed technical drawings and specifications
- Operate a range of workshop machinery including panel saws, cross-cut saws and wall saws to prepare materials accurately
- Interpret drawings and use measuring equipment to ensure precision and quality throughout the build process
- Install doors, locks, vents and additional components to complete finished units to specification
- Maintain efficient workflow to ensure build targets and production schedules are achieved
- Carry out a range of duties including assembly, testing, maintenance and on-site installation when required
- Record and maintain accurate production and process documentation
- Safely operate workshop equipment and adhere to all health & safety procedures and standard operating processes
What We're Looking For:
- Background in fabrication, carpentry, joinery or general workshop assembly work
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Good level of English and communication skills
- Flexible approach to working hours and production demands
- Confident using hand tools, machinery and workshop equipment

Workshop Operative (Laminating) - NPS GRP
Hours: 7.30am start and a 4pm finish Monday - Thursday with a 3pm Friday finish
Roles & Responsibilities:
Manufacture of GRP building to specified engineering CAD drawings
Competent handling of materials and chemicals ensuring use is within specified regulations
Ability to use measurement devices ensuring compliance with drawings issued
Ensure workflow of a product is to schedule
Undertake maintenance, manufacturing, test and installation tasks as requested
Document processes
Operate any vehicle or company equipment in a safe manner and in line with any published SOPs
Follow all company's filed procedures and protocols
Maintain a clean and tidy working environment
Assist the supervisor to participate in an efficient workshop that complies to regulatory requirements, ensure equipment is calibrated and safe, raise action logs to support corrective action and root cause analysis
Build positive relationships with customers where relevant or during site or customer visits
Provide service and customer support during field service visits or installations
Undertake other duties linked to your role that benefit the company from time to time on reasonable request of your line manager
Essential role requirements:
English literacy
Ability to work flexible hours and to adapt to changing work schedules
Familiarity with tools and applications
A proactive approach to health & safety
Strong team player
Desirable role requirements:
Previously worked in a manufacturing environment
Proven workshop laminating or GRP handling experience
