Shift Patterns Available: There are multiple permanent shift options available:

Mornings & Afternoons - Rotating shift pattern +10% shift allowance (Total salary: 36,300)

Permanent Weekend Shift (Friday – Sunday 12-hour shifts) +33% shift allowance (Total salary: £43,890)

Permanent Nights +33% shift allowance (Total salary: £43,890)

The Role

As a CNC Turner, you will be responsible for setting and operating Fanuc CNC turning machines, producing high-quality precision components to customer specifications.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Setting and operating Fanuc CNC lathes
• Producing precision components to tight tolerances
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
• Carrying out in-process quality checks
• Tool changes and offsets
• Ensuring components meet required quality standards
• Working safely and efficiently within a busy precision machining environment

About You

The successful CNC Turner will ideally have:

• Apprenticeship trained with Previous experience setting and operating CNC lathes
• Experience working with Fanuc controls
• The ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Experience working to tight tolerances within a precision engineering environment
• A strong eye for quality and attention to detail
• The ability to work independently and as part of a wider machining team
