Credit Controller – Based in Bradford
£30,000 – £35,000 | Permanent | Monday – Friday | 37.5 hours
Are you an experienced Credit Controller looking for a new challenge with a business that is investing in technology, process improvement and smarter ways of working?
We’re working with a fantastic organisation that is looking to appoint a Credit Controller to join their finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys taking ownership of their accounts, building strong customer relationships and using data to drive improvements.
The Opportunity
You’ll be responsible for managing customer accounts and collections activity, helping to maintain strong cash flow while ensuring a positive and professional customer experience.
The role will also give you the opportunity to get involved in continuous improvement, including the introduction of automation and AI tools to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage a portfolio of customer accounts and proactively oversee collections activity.
• Ensure outstanding payments are followed up promptly and effectively.
• Build strong working relationships with customers and internal stakeholders to resolve queries and minimise payment delays.
• Analyse aged debt, collection performance and debtor trends to identify risks and opportunities.
• Support credit risk management and contribute to achieving collection targets.
• Identify opportunities to improve existing processes and ways of working.
• Get involved in the implementation of automation, AI and other technology-led improvements within the credit control function.
