Are you an organised, proactive and passionate professional with experience in Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)?

We are currently recruiting for a dedicated SEND Casework Officer to join a supportive team based in Bradford.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong understanding of SEND processes and legislation who is committed to ensuring children and young people with special educational needs receive the support and provision they deserve.

• Manage a caseload of children and young people with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs).
• Coordinate and oversee Education, Health and Care Needs Assessments.
• Ensure EHCPs are reviewed, updated and issued within statutory timescales.
• Work closely with parents, schools, settings and external professionals.
• Liaise with education, health and social care colleagues to ensure appropriate provision is in place.
• Respond to queries from parents, carers and professionals in a timely and professional manner.
• Ensure all casework complies with the SEND Code of Practice and relevant legislation.
• Maintain accurate records and case management information.

• Has previous experience working within a SEND or local authority education team.
• Has a good understanding of the SEND Code of Practice and EHCP processes.
• Understands statutory assessment and annual review procedures.
• Has excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Can manage a busy caseload and work to strict deadlines.
• Is confident liaising with parents, schools and a range of professionals.
• Is passionate about improving outcomes for children and young people with SEND.
