The Supply Register is working in partnership with Dixons Academies Trust to recruit a passionate and dedicated History Teacher for Dixons City Academy in Bradford.

This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic Secondary History Teacher to secure a long-term teaching placement starting in January 2027. We welcome applications from experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) with a passion for delivering engaging and inspiring History lessons.

You will teach History across the secondary age range, delivering engaging lessons that develop students' historical knowledge, understanding and analytical skills.

Key responsibilities include:

• Teaching History across KS3 and KS4.

• Planning and delivering engaging, high-quality lessons.

• Supporting students' academic progress and achievement.

• Maintaining high standards of classroom and behaviour management.

• Assessing student progress and providing constructive feedback.

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.

• Experience teaching History within a secondary school.

• Strong subject knowledge and understanding of the History curriculum.

• Effective classroom and behaviour management skills.

• A positive, adaptable and professional approach to teaching.

Experienced History Teachers and ECTs are encouraged to apply.
