Role Description The Part time Chef De Partie will work on-site at the Best Western Bradford Guide Post Hotel in Bradford, supporting the kitchen team in delivering high-quality dishes. Day-to-day tasks include preparing and cooking menu items, assisting with mise en place, and ensuring food is presented to hotel standards. The role involves maintaining food safety and hygiene procedures, supporting stock rotation, and minimizing waste. The Chef De Partie will collaborate with the Head Chef and other kitchen staff, help train junior team members, and contribute ideas for menu improvements while ensuring consistent service during busy periods.

Qualifications

• Professional experience as a Chef De Partie or in a similar kitchen role, preferably within a hotel or restaurant environment.
• Strong culinary skills, including food preparation, cooking techniques, and plating to consistent quality standards.
• Solid understanding of food safety, hygiene regulations, and kitchen cleanliness best practices.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team, communicate clearly with colleagues, and support a positive kitchen culture.
• Good time management and organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks during busy service periods.
• Flexibility to work part time shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
• Relevant culinary qualifications or certifications are beneficial; ongoing willingness to learn and develop skills.
• Right to work in the UK and reliable transport to the hotel’s Bradford location.
