Operations Manager - The Details

• Salary circa £50,000, depending on experience

Operations Manager - Requirements

• Experience in operations or manufacturing management
• Background in food, supplements, nutraceuticals, pharmaceuticals or wider FMCG manufacturing
• Experience improving production processes and operational efficiency
• Strong understanding of production planning and performance management
• Experience introducing KPIs and improving ways of working
• A proactive approach with the ability to identify and implement change
• Strong leadership, problem-solving and organisational skills
• Knowledge of relevant quality and manufacturing standards

Operations Manager - Responsibilities

• Oversee manufacturing operations and support the smooth running of production
• Review existing processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and output
• Improve production planning, resource utilisation and delivery performance
• Introduce and monitor KPIs to measure operational performance
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing activities
• Develop effective systems and processes to support future business growth
• Work closely with teams across production, quality and supply chain
• Support the development of the wider operations team and management structure
• Help drive improvements across multiple manufacturing sites
• Ensure operational activities meet required quality, safety and customer standards
• Take ownership of projects and see improvements through from implementation to results
• Other duties that may be deemed the responsibility of the job
